The finals of the DECHEMA University Teachers' Award for Young Biotechnologists take place annually during the Spring Conference for Biotechnologists. This year, Thomas Classen was given the opportunity to hold a presentation as one of three selected candidates. The Young Scientist Award went to Yanyan Zhang from the University of Hohenheim, for which we would like to congratulate her warmly.
The third candidate was Stefan Jacob from the Institute for Biotechnology and Drug Research gGmbH (IBWF).
Thomas Classen was very pleased about the nomination, the participation in the final and the friendly public vote and would like to thank everyone for this.
